Easy to make, delicious, and created or improved by Pierre Hermé? I'm definitely trying it now with some arborio that was not used for a risotto.

Fanny,

This recipe is wonderful!! I've been looking for one that reminds me of the reismilch I used to buy from this sweet lady in Berlin, and I think you nailed it. I was just wondering if you've ever made it in large batches, and whether you are able to keep the portions the same. I have a housewarming party this Saturday, and I would love to make it for my guests!

Thank you so much, and your blog is absolutely lovely.

Take care,
Anne

I have made this twice- the first time I followed the recipe as written and found it to be too sweet. The next time, I cut the sugar to 20g, and found it to be perfect. I also swirled in some strawberry jam to serve. Yum!!

PS I love your blog

Hi Fanny,

I made this recipe last night and it was truly delicious and comforting. My boyfriend said it was the best riz au lait he's ever had. I agree. Although, it turned out a little more soupy than yours, but that might have to do with my metric conversions. Thanks so much!! And I truly enjoy your blog, long live perfectionism!!
Jen

Adorable.
Merci et bonne journée.
