Hello there, Happy Fool’s Day!!

A couple goes out to dinner to celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary. On the way home, she notices a tear in his eye and asks if he’s getting sentimental because they’re celebrating 50 wonderful years together.
He replies, “No, I was thinking about the time before we got married. Your father threatened me with a shotgun and said he’d have me thrown in jail for 50 years if I didn’t marry you. Tomorrow I would’ve been a free man!”

Hi there – thanks for all the lovely comments. I’m so sorry for answering them all this late but as you can imagine I try to do as much things as possible for my last month in NZ.

Claude-Olivier – c’est assez drole d’ailleurs de revoie the lord of the rings et de reconnaitre plein d’endroits que j’ai visité.

Melissa – thanks you sooooo much. My pictures are not as gorgous as yours (I still remember the ones from Morocco – so beautiful) though.

As for the muffins I have no idea. I guess the bluebberies might have released too much juice affecting the texture. Indeed these muffins should have a fine and light crumb.

hi fanny.. :) congrats on ur wedding.. where r u celebrating? (i saw u mention that u were marrying d.lebovitz it in ur masthead once.. not sure if u meant it literally or if it were a marriage of blogs or something.. but regardless congrats!)

on another note, i made these cupcakes n they turned out really gummy.. like gummy wet flour instead of the usual fluffy cake-like texture.. do u think it was because of the blueberries juicing all over the batter during baking? or do u think i overmixed the batter?
