I've been trying to convert this to US measurements but keep getting conflicting information online (e.g., 175 g butter appears to be ¾ cup since 1/2 that or 85 g = ⅜ cup but then the same sources say ½ cup = 115 g and ¼ cup = 55 g which adds up to 170 g). I'm confused! Has someone successfully converted this recipe and if so will you please post it?

Hi Fanny,

I've tried your recipe 2 times and the taste was great! Like you said, chocolatey melt in my mouth ^.^

however, I'm wondering why the color/texture of my cake was different from yours?

The top of my cake was cracked and harden. The cake was dense and color wise was similar to dark chocolate :P

I've blogged it here, mind to give some advise? http://havefunbaking.blogspot.com/2009/10/cake-fondant-ultra-chocolate.html

Thanks in advanced!
mommy of 3 ^.^

Hello,

What's the point in greasing the tins, as we will line it with baking paper? Does it affect the cooking?
